Australian Ocean King Prawn Company is owned and operated by the Murphy family, which has been in the business of catching and selling seafood for over 20 years. The business is based in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia.

Australian Ocean King Prawn Company's fleet of vessels are all equipped with state of the art refrigeration systems, with running temperatures of more than -30º, ensuring product is kept in ideal storage conditions.

FREEZER STORAGE FACILITY
- Hervey Bay Cold Stores

Australian Ocean King Prawn Company also has a freezer storage facility (Hervey Bay Cold Stores) with a 780 pallet capacity and a running temperature of -27º. The freezer is equipped with docking facilities and inflatable door seals for maintaining temperature of product when loading and unloading.

All of our vessels and our freezer storage facility are registered with AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) for export, including laboratory testing of product in compliance with EU regulations.
